"These are net new concepts. I think that's why they're working." — How Hollow Socks found multiple winning ads in 30 days with Statiq

Meet Hollow Socks
Hollow Socks is a DTC performance sock brand led by Zach Stuck. They run a sophisticated paid media operation, scaling their compression and lifestyle socks primarily through Meta. Zach's team uses North Beam as the source of truth, optimizing toward 1-day click attribution as the leading indicator of incremental performance.
Before working with Statiq, Hollow had cycled through multiple creative agencies. Each one defaulted to iterating on a single existing winner instead of generating net-new concepts, and the account stalled.
What was going wrong?
Hollow had a budget, a winning product, and a clear performance benchmark. What they didn't have was a creative partner willing to take real swings on the visual side. Past agencies were templatizing the work, and the account had nothing fresh to test.
How Statiq turned it around
We took creative ownership of the Meta ads. Hollow gave us latitude to push the aesthetics. The work leans heavily on AI-generated imagery as infrastructure to execute concepts that wouldn't be possible with traditional product photography.
Onboarding & creative latitude
Established brand parameters and got sign-off to push beyond literal product photography.
Net-new concepting
Built original visual concepts using AI-generated environments: desert backgrounds, surreal patterns, scenes that wouldn't exist with traditional shoots. Paired with original headlines like "Torturing your feet."
Multiple winners in parallel
Top performer is an AI-generated version of the compression sock with a custom-built environment. Two other ads each spent five figures inside the first 30 days; all hitting Hollow's North Beam threshold.
Inside 30 days, Hollow had multiple winning ads carrying real spend: not variations on a single concept, but distinct net-new creative directions. The top ad alone spent ~$9K, with a second at ~$6K and a third at ~$4K. All three cleared the 1-day click threshold Hollow uses to validate incremental performance.
